ORION, Bataan- Still unidentified gunmen shot dead a rider and his back rider who were travelling along the busy Roman Superhighway in this town at 12:30 in the afternoon of Tuesday.
PO3 Natalio Robles, Orion police investigator, identified the fatalities as rider Mhel Yolas, a former member of the Citizen Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU), and his back rider Alexander Genega, 45, both of Barangay Alangan in Limay, Bataan.
The victims died on the spot at their fallen motorcycle near a steel railing in Barangay Daan Pari.
Police investigators and Scene of the Crime Operatives recovered five empty shells from .45 pistol, four empty shells from .9mm pistol and a slug.
SOCO found in the possession of Yolas a .45 handgun with two magazines.
Police are still investigating the identities of suspects, the kind of vehicle they were using and motive for the killing.
