GUAGUA, Pampanga — A total of 1,741 students from the 2nd District received assistance on June 16 through the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) of the provincial government led by Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda and Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda.
Each beneficiary received P4,000 for the semester during the distribution at the GNC Covered Court led by Vice Governor Pineda, together with Mayor Anthony. Among the recipients was 21-year-old Denielle Wenceslao, a third-year accountancy student and daughter of a security guard, who shared that the assistance helps her meet school expenses and tuition payments. With three siblings studying at the same time, Denielle said every amount of support makes a difference in helping her continue her education.

The beneficiaries included 344 first-year scholars, 430 second-year scholars, 556 third-year scholars, and 410 fourth-year scholars from the district.
The vice governor assured the students that the Capitol will continue supporting them until they complete their studies and become professionals in their chosen fields.

Through the EFAP, the provincial government continues to help ease the financial burden of students and their families, ensuring that more Kapampangan youth are given the opportunity to stay in school and pursue their dreams. Pampanga PIO/Photos: Daniel Ombina
