CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Ongoing rehabilitation works on roads, bridges, toll plazas at the North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway are set to be completed this September, before the onset of the holiday season.
In a statement, NLEX Corp. president Luigi Bautista said the rehabilitation of the Bulacan portion of NLEX covers Mabiga in Plaridel, Tabang Toll Plaza in Guiguinto, the southbound lane from the Tabang spur exit ramp to Barangay Burol II in Balagtas, and entry and exit ramps at the Bocaue Toll Plaza.
On the Pampanga side, NLEX has prioritized the completion of the road elevation in Tulaoc, San Simon town.
At the same time, the roads on the SCTEX Spur Ramp or its connector from NLEX and also from SCTEX back to NLEX are being improved.
Toward the direction of Subic, the Manuali stretch of Porac, Pampanga is being repaired.
Going to Tarlac, parts of Old San Jose are undergoing rehabilitation, along with San Ramon and Pagalanggang in Dinalupihan, Bataan; Dampe in Floridablanca, Pampanga; and Margot in Angeles City.
Also included in the rehabilitation works is the maintenance of quality asphalt overlays on both lanes of the North Harbor Link.
NLEX Corp. specifically handles the patching or compaction of asphalt in perforated areas, rotomilling or grinding of worn asphalt, and asphalt overlaying to serve as road surface. Punto News Team/PIA-3
