One place, two water attractions and lots of contented sporty guests and delighted kids, scenario that amazed me during recent visit to Camayan Beach Resort Subic Bay for the Yellow Cab-Tri Clark Triathlon Team DIY: Open Swim Training Series. A combination of world class ocean adventure and pristine water beach is one big bucket of fun.

In July 2005, CAMAYAN BEACH RESORT AND HOTEL was established by the management team of Ocean Adventure, as a perfect escape destination. Now expanding to a more active family oriented one-stop-shop resort, there’s nothing that can’t be done at Camayan for every member of the family has its own trusty little nook and even the sporty posses come to paddle, dive, surf, and do water sports.

It has a total of 85 comfortable hotel rooms giving splendid view of the idyllic white sandy beach, and it houses two restaurants, The Reef and Sand Bar, offering delicious international fare  and a strip of souvenir shops for little shopping.

Albeit others would find it graceful going to this beautiful beach resort, some still look for more exciting adventures and interactive activities. No need to go separate ways because few steps from Camayan is OCEAN ADVENTURE, the only open-water marine themed park in Southeast Asia and a premier destination in Subic.

It gives a glimpse of many underwater or sea creatures while staying dry and comfortable in their Discovery Aquarium, Sea Trek Aquarium and Sea Lion under Water Viewing.

Ocean Adventure is very keen in entertaining and educating guests with popular Dolphin Friends Show, Sea Lion Marine Patrol Show and WOW (Walk on the Wild Side Show), and for kids to go up close and personal with friendly dolphins, sea lions, and rescued forest and water animals at the Animal Trainer Adventure, Fish Frenzy and Swim-Dive-Photo opportunities.

It also houses a souvenir shop offering cute huggable items and fancy restaurant called Ilanin Bay Cafe for refreshing cuisine.

Both Camayan Beach Resort and Ocean Adventure are advocates of environmental awareness education and care for animals. The dive shop is a proud member of Green Fins and Reef Check, programs designed to monitor and protect the fragile marine environment.

They work closely with the NGO Wildlife in Need to protect marine and forest animals. In fact, Camayan Beach Resort is the only privately-owned business in Subic Bay to build and operate own sewage treatment plant, one of the most important ways to protect the environment and the health of hotel guests.

What makes it more fun is that 50% discount on the admission rate is now being offered to all local residents of Pampanga, Bataan, Olongapo, Zambales and Subic Bay, employees and locators of SBFZ, members of Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce and PMAP Subic Chapter, embassy, hotel and airline employees , promo runs until August 30, 2013.

For reservation (047) 252-9000 or 8000, www.camayanbeachresort.com, www.oceanadventure.com.ph, Camayan Wharf, West Ilanin Forest Area, Subic Bay Freeport Zone
