MANILA – Tarlac province led by Gov. Christian Yap has been hailed 2026 Most Business-Friendly LGU – Province Level Category national winner, while the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry-Tarlac with president Aileen Uy Chan emerged as Most Outstanding Chamber in North Luzon and in the Philippines-Province Level/Large Chamber at the 52nd Philippine Business Conference and Expo (PBC&E) held at the Manila Hotel on Oct. 13-14.
Organized by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry under the theme “Raising the Bar: Empowering Business for a Resilient Future,” the PBC&E convened business leaders “to discuss and explore actionable strategies to strengthen economic security, boost enterprises resilience, harness ASEAN momentum, and champion public-private collaboration.”
