Is there really mass testing for Covid-19 in Pampanga?

IS THERE any mass testing being conducted in Pampanga?

There is nothing in the daily updates from the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit that indicates any number of tests conducted — like for this day how many were tested, how many were positive/negative, the total number cumulatively.

We, the worried and fearful public, have the right to know.

Note that last April 15 yet, the City of San Fernando signed a memorandum of agreement with the Green City Medical Center for a Covid-19 testing facility that it said would begin testing by the third week of April.

Last April 29, the Bases Conversion and Development Authority announced the completion of a molecular laboratory it built jointly with the Philippine National Red Cross at the Clark Freeport touted to be equipped with three polymerase chain reaction machines capable of conducting up to 1,500 Covid-19 tests per day.

And then last May 9, the Department of Health inaugurated the Asian Development Bank-funded molecular and diagnostic pathology laboratory at the Jose B. Lingad Memorial Regional Hospital saying it would start testing right the next day, May 10.

Today, May 18, is almost ending. Has anyone ever heard or read of a single test ever undertaken in these facilities?

We respectfully call on the BCDA, the CSF local government, and the DOH enlighten us. Give us the numbers. For our peace of mind that indeed, these facilities are delivering on their promise of mass testing.

Else, the public disappointment and outrage that all these were nothing more than propagandistic press releases.
