PTV4 General Manager Dino Apolonio discloses his new mandate for the government-owned TV station:
“Our mandate is to inform and to bring the government closer to the people, first of all. But we want to do it in such a way na hindi naman po boring so we will be concentrating a lot on news, public affairs, public service. At the same time, we want to entertain.”

“Instead of puro talking heads lang na sometimes can get too much of something, nagiging boring na…
“So para maiba nang konti, we will start infusing some Koreanovelas, dramas that we could get our hands on—mga travel show, and we’re also thinking of children’s programming din,” paliwanag pa ni Apolonio tungkol sa desisyon niya na maglabas ng mga Koreanovela sa PTV4.
“At this point, we’re working on the programming grid.
“We don’t have the resources right now to produce homegrown artists.
“As much as we want to, dadating din naman yung time na after we start earning a little bit, then we can start investing in local shows which we really want to do.
“We’re going to position the channel to air, not in direct competition with the commercial networks because iba ang mandate namin sa kanila, but it will be nice to bring in some eyeballs talaga,”
Aside from Kris the Tulfo brothers are also rumored moving in at PTV4

WYN MARQUEZ and Mark Herras were among the celebrities who spent Valentine’s Day abroad.
On February 13, 2017, the celebrity couple flew to Japan.
It was Wyn’s second out of the country trip with her beau, following their quick trip to Hong Kong last June 2016. They stayed at The Park Front Hotel at Universal Studios in Osaka, Japan.

The Kapuso artists opted for a simple celebration on Hearts Day, savoring instant food in their hotel room. He wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day my pangggaa!!! Simple celebration but it’s worth it because I’m with you.”
Aside from Osaka, they also visited the province of Kobe, a city on Osaka Bay in central Japan known for its signature marbled beef and scenic setting of mountains framing the harbor.
Part of their itinerary was to explore the tourist spots in Kyoto, an hour’s drive from Osaka.
The lovely couple snapped a photo with the Buddhist temple Kiyomizu-dera as their backdrop.
They also shot stunning photos set against the Fushimi-Inari Temple.
Hours before they boarded their plane back hom, the beauty queen wrote, “Japanese people are so kind and so polite.

Recently, Mark took to social media to clarify engagement and pregnancy rumors involving his girlfriend.
Earlier today, Mark cleared the issue via an Instagram post.
