For a fast and hassle-free registration process, customers are advised to have their relevant information readily available. This includes their full name, date of birth, sex, address, government-issued ID with photo, and mobile number.

“Our utmost priority is to provide our clients with uninterrupted connectivity. We understand that the SIM registration process can be arduous for some, which is why we continue to streamline the process and ensure a hassle-free experience for everyone. With only a month left before the registration deadline, we strongly encourage our customers to take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy seamless mobile and broadband services,” said Cleo Santos, Globe Channel Management Group Head.

Aside from participating in the NTC-led SIM registration program, Globe earlier launched its own on-ground and online initiatives to assist its customers. Globe, TM and Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi may register anytime and anywhere through https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg or the GlobeOne app.

Postpaid and Platinum subscribers, meanwhile, may confirm their details to Globe by sending SIMREG to 8080 or update their details via https://new.globe.com.ph/simreg.

Globe is committed to providing support to all its customers, particularly those who require extra assistance, such as senior citizens, disabled individuals, pregnant women, basic phone users, and those without internet access. The company strives to ensure that every customer receives the necessary help to complete the registration process smoothly.

The SIM Registration Act mandates the registration of all SIMs as part of government efforts to combat fraud and scams, which have seen an increase during the pandemic, increasing incidence of criminal activities that exploit unregistered SIMs. This important measure ensures that every mobile number is linked with a verified user, making it easier to track down and hold accountable those who use mobile devices to engage in unlawful activities.

With only a limited time left before the registration deadline, it is crucial to register your SIM now. For more information on the SIM registration process and how to register, please visit https://www.globe.com.ph/help/sim-registration-act.html.
