Malaysia’s Galven Green ties Luisita course record to lead 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open Day 3

All bets are off at the home stretch of the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open as Malaysian Galven Green came out of nowhere to snatch the solo lead off a blistering eight-under-par 64 at the iconic Luisita Golf and Country Club on Friday, June 19, ahead of the Saturday finale.

Free of bogeys in Day 3 with a crucial eagle on the ninth hole to boot, the 26-year-old put on a performance for the ages to tie the course record set on October 17, 2018 by Filipino ace Clyde Mondilla, who is also one of the Filipino finalists in this tournament.

Green leapfrogged seven spots to land on top with a 14-under total. Italy’s Michele Ortolani soared up five rungs to settle for second, off a seven-under-par 65, while Plumb rebounded from a two-over-par 74 in Day 2 with a six-under-par 66 in Day 3 to nab third place.

Sean Ramos solidifies 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open lead for 15-strong Filipino contingent

“I was just going out there to play the best golf I could play. Golf is golf, and it’s always a different day when you go out there,” said Green, who piled on a pair of decent three-under 69s in the first two days of the four-day tournament.

“I think, obviously, you’re motivated every day to play,” he added after his record-tying Day 3 run. “You always want to win every tournament, but in golf, that’s not always the case. It’s nice to go out and shoot what I shot today, and just to be in contention.”

Not to be outdone, young phenom Sean Ramos flew the Philippine flag back to the top 10 with a five-under-par 67 to land at sixth after settling for 12th in Day 2 of this ADT tournament backed by BingoPlus, the number one and most trusted Filipino online entertainment platform.

Meanwhile, Day 2 star Franco Scorzato of Argentina fell to a shared fourth with Chinese Taipei’s Su Ching-Hung after a costly Day 3 endgame that saw consecutive bogeys on the 16th and 17th holes.

The USD 100,000 prize pool now awaits the 54 golfers remaining on Saturday, as BingoPlus and the ADT show off how the tournament truly elevates Philippine golf onto the world stage.

And as the 15 contending Filipinos, currently headed by Ramos and veteran Angelo Que, go “From Local Talent to National Pride,” Saturday’s showdown finally determines the top two locals to clinch spots in the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Open in November later this year.
