A new creative space has opened in Angeles City as Sunrise Studio officially launched its home at Sandra Mall along Rizal Street Extension, Sto. Rosario, Angeles City on June 20, 2026.

Founded by artists Lloyd Dacayanan, Camille Pingul, and Ronald “Diffix” Buenacifra, Sunrise Studio aims to be a welcoming venue for art workshops, exhibitions, and creative collaboration. The founders shared that seven years of friendship inspired them to build a space where artists can grow, connect, and contribute to the local arts community.

The opening also featured Perspective, the studio’s inaugural exhibition, which highlights the idea that every perspective has value and every story deserves to be heard. The exhibit runs until August 20, 2026.
For the founders, the name “Sunrise” symbolizes a new beginning and a new generation of artists. More than an art space, they envision the studio as a safe and nurturing environment for creatives and the wider community.
Artist and keynote speaker Abel Bong De Luna expressed his support for the initiative.
“Buong puso kaming sumusuporta sa mga kabataang artistang ito. Mahalaga na hindi lamang nila pinauunlad ang kanilang sining, kundi pinahahalagahan din ang art of living at ang kanilang pagkatao. Ang tunay na sukatan ng isang artist ay ang kanyang artistry at character.”
The launch was attended by Sandra Mall Manager Samantha Tayag, fellow artists, family members, and friends who gathered to celebrate the opening of what many described as a fresh chapter for the city’s creative scene.
Through its programs and exhibitions, Sunrise Studio hopes to unleash culture and emotion through creativity while providing a platform where artists and their works can share meaningful stories.

As the studio opens its doors, it also signals a new dawn for the growing arts community in Angeles City—one that values creativity, connection, and the diverse perspectives that shape every work of art.
