HERMOSA, Bataan — A team from various police units in Bataan arrested seven suspects in a buy-bust operation and confiscated shabu with an estimated value of P408,000 in Barangay Mandama here.
Bataan police director Col. Romell Velasco on Friday said the raid resulted to the dismantling of the drug den in the area and apprehension of six suspects from Mandama and one from Barangay Culis, also in Hermosa.
Two of the suspects are in the police drug watchlist.
Velasco said that confiscated were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets and one open sachet containing suspected shabu that weighed some 60 grams with value placed at P408,000.
Also confiscated were various drug paraphernalia and the P500 bill buy-bust money.
The raiding team in the dawn operation was composed of the Hermosa police station together with personnel of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, police provincial drug enforcement unit, 1st provincial mobile force company and the police intelligence unit in Bataan.
Velasco said the Hermosa police station under police chief Major Emerson Coballes is readying appropriate charges against the suspects.
