3 in Wanted list nabbed

IBA, Zambales — Three persons in the wanted list of the police were arrested in separate operations in the province.

Reports submitted to Zambales police director Col. Romano Velayo Cardiño said elements of the Subic Municipal Police Station, detectives of the CIDG-City Field Unit Olongapo, 301st Maritime Police Station, regional intel unit-3 Bataan-Zambales special operations team, and regional highway patrol-NCR conducted separate manhunt operation against two in the Most Wanted Person list at barangays Calapacuan and Calapandayan in Subic town.

Arrested were Calvin Escalicas aka Kalvie Laidani, 34, of Barangay Calapacuan, for violation of Sec. 5 & 6 of Art. II under R.A 9165 by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Roline M. Ginez-Jabalde; and Louie Quejado y Arguilla, 40, former BJMP personnel, of Barangay Calapandayan, for two counts of murder, by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Melanie Fay V. Tadili.

On Monday at about 9:30 p.m. elements of Castillejos Municipal Police Station conducted manhunt operation that resulted to the arrest of Reynaldo Corpuz y Federe, 63, of Purok 4, Barangay San Agustin, Castillejos, for attempted homicide, by virtue of warrant issued by Judge Richard A. Paradeza.

Cardiño said: Our community is assured that the full force of PNP Zambales will relentlessly  hunt down all wanted criminals in the province until they are all put behind bars.
