Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO), Director, Sr. Supt. Rolando Felix, identified the suspects as Lou Acuavera, 36, tricycle driver and Gener Acuavera, 25, both residents of Barangay Sto. Rosario.
Report said that at about 3:30 p.m., elements of the Zambales PNP conducted a buy-bust operation and caught the suspects in the act of selling two sachets of marijuana to a police poseur buyer.
Recovered from the suspects’ possession were 54 pieces of small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of marijuana, two fifty-peso bills, seven twenty-peso bill marked money and one motorcycle without plate number used by the suspects in delivering their illegal drugs.
The suspects were detained at the Iba police detention cell, facing charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165. (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002).
