Reports reaching the Office of Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) director, Senior Supt. Rolando Felix, identified the suspects as Ariel Mendoza y Delos Santos, 32, single, of Purok 6, Barangay Luna and Rolex Labre y Bacani, 23, single, of Sitio Maligaya, Barangay Burgos both of this town.
Police Inspector Milo Gonzales, San Antonio Police Station chief, said that on April 13, 2009 at around 10:30 in the morning, a concerned citizen reported the incident to the police.
Examination conducted by Supt. Jude Doble at the Zambales PNP Crime Laboratory found out that victim hymen is fleshy with a shallow healed laceration.
Reports added the suspects started raping the victim, Susan (not real name) sometime in October 2008 at their residence.
The suspects are facing charges of statutory rape in relation to RA 7610 before the Zambales Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Iba, Zambales.
