CLARK FREEPORT – A. Lange & Söhne. Audemars Piguet. Breguet. Cartier. F.P. Journe. Patek Philippe. Richard Mille. Rolex. Vacheron Constantin. In alphabetical order now, not in price range – all available for the serious, if luxurious, collector at Watch Vault PH boutique inside the Hann Casino Resort.
“Collecting watches should be about more than simply acquiring a luxury product. It is about understanding the craftsmanship, appreciating the history, and developing a personal connection with each timepiece,” enthused Joey Singian, partner and owner of Watch Vault PH, at the “Discuss WidUs” forum hosted by the Central Luzon Media Association-Pampanga Chapter and Widus Hotel Clark. On Aug. 20. His company, Luxvault Inc., was founded in 2024. The Clark store opened at the 8th Avenue Lifestyle Mall in May 2025 and has since added a Makati location.

Singian said Filipino buyers are no longer chasing logos they’re asking about references, movements, provenance and condition, the kind of questions that used to be rare outside Manila’s collector circles.
Notably, Swiss clocks and watches exported to the Philippines hit US$54.92 million in 2025.
Singian didn’t start a career in watches. He spent more than three decades in corporate leadership – senior vice president for operations and marketing at SM Retail, group vice president at Concentrix Philippines, managing director and president of Adidas Philippines, with earlier stops at Viva Video City, Giordano and Unilever. Collecting was the sideline of nearly 30 years, enough to turn into a working study of horology.

Of Clark’s Watch Vault boutique, he says: “The opportunity is not simply to sell more watches, but to build knowledge, trust and appreciation around them” enough to turn Central Luzon into a real collector community, not just a market but one that gives seasoned buyers and newcomers alike the kind of specialized expertise that used to require a trip to Metro Manila.
Beyond sales, the boutique handles trade-ins, consignment, and sourcing of specific references from local and overseas dealers, and connects clients to servicing through a Watch Spa partnership. It doesn’t authenticate watches in-house for that, staff book appointments at brand service centers. Doors are open daily, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
A small but capable staff runs the shop day to day: Dada Jordan on HR and operations, Chicken Fernandez as creative director, Prim Condez managing the store floor, and Lena Sison handling marketing.

Thitay Selom, Widus Hotel Clark/Swissôtel’s director for sales and marketing, and Pao Modequillo Rosello, the property’s marketing manager, hosted the forum at the hotel’s Pampanga Meeting Room and Roof Deck.
