Thus said Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin in his Facebook post during the closing ceremony of the city’s Anti-Drug Rehabilitation Program through its City Anti-Drug Abuse Council (CADAC) held July 10  to commend and celebrate the success of several drug reformists who have completed the six months rehabilitation program.

The city government remains steadfast in addressing their local drug situation as 115 drug reformists graduated from the rehabilitation program of the local government.

Lazatin supports the values formation council on  its treatment aftercare and prevention program dubbed “Magbago ka na, nagbago na ako at may pag-asa.”

Lazatin also shared that the local government is focused on the welfare and betterment of the city and encouraged the reformists to start their lives anew.

Puntahan mo ang pamilya mo, ayusin mo ang pamilya at trabaho,” Lazatin said.

Reformists benefited from the psycho-educational program, including family education, community service, recreational activities, skills training, and spiritual and values formation which helps them obtain access to information, care, self-help, and recovery support.

CADAC will continue to monitor the graduate-reformists from six to 18 months and they will be randomly tested three times in six months.
