CLARK FREEPORT — The Philippines will showcase its global hosting capacity as Clark prepares to welcome more than 6,000 delegates from 120 countries for the Junior Chamber International (JCI) World Congress on Nov. 11–15.
The fiveday event will feature leadership workshops, assemblies, cultural exchanges, exhibitions, and networking activities, positioning Clark as a hub for international collaboration.
Preparations were underscored during a stakeholders’ luncheon and executive presentation at Royce Hotel and Casino on Aug. 7.
Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera joined Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, JCI World Congress 2026 Congress director Luis Angelo Sevilla, Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corp. head of operations Dante Basanta, and JCI Angeles City Culiat president Atty. Allen Jeil Gerona to discuss readiness for the event.
“We support not just the organization, but the people and values that drive it,” Devanadera said.
In the first quarter of 2026, Clark recorded 8.9 million visitor arrivals, P6.55 billion in tourist spending, and 572 meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) with 85,049 attendees — figures underscoring its capacity to host global events.
The Philippines secured hosting rights in 2024 through a bid led by JCI Manila and JCI Angeles City Culiat, with CDC’s support.
