TARLAC CITY (PIA) — A total of 1,367 residents received 10 kilograms of rice each through the Bawat Bayan Makikinabang program of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during a distribution activity in Barangays Binauganan and San Sebastian.
The beneficiaries include members of vulnerable sectors, transport workers, and other local residents needing additional support.
Tarlac City Mayor Susan Yap thanked the national government for its continued support to the city and the province.
“Maraming salamat po sa ating National Government sa patuloy na suporta sa ating lungsod at sa buong lalawigan,” she said.
Yap added that the city government continues to coordinate with various agencies to provide further assistance and support to residents.

“Patuloy po tayong nakikipag-ugnayan sa iba’t ibang ahensya upang makapaghatid pa ng mga tulong at suporta sa ating mga kababayan,” she stated.
Supported by the National Government through the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF), the initiative aims to strengthen local food security and provide assistance to families in need.
The rice subsidy forms part of the administration’s efforts to help vulnerable households meet their daily food needs and ease some of the expenses associated with putting food on the table. (CLJD/AJRR, PIA Region 3-Tarlac)
