NETIZEN accuses Maine Mendoza of being “insensitive” during Sugod Bahay segment of Eat Bulaga.

Maine Mendoza apologized for her behavior towards a “Sugod Bahay” winner who broke down in tears.

In the June 18 episode of Eat Bulaga, Maine, Paolo Ballesteros, and Jose Manalo interviewed Leny Feliciano of Calumpit, Bulacan for the “Juan For All, All For Juan” segment.

Leny was very emotional as she was talking to the Dabarkads. Jose told the “Sugod Bahay” winner:

“Leny, umiiyak ka kaagad, e. Natutuwa ka kaya ka umiiyak. Ayan na naman.”

Leny admitted, “Opo. Sobra pong tuwa dahil mapapalibing ko na ang anak ko. Makakabayad pa po sa funeraria.”

Joey de Leon, who was seated inside the Eat Bulaga studio, asked Maine (whom he called Menggay) to repeat what the winner said.

Maine imitated the mumbling of Leny. Vic Sotto, who was also at the Eat Bulaga studio, asked the Dabarkads to give water to Leny. Using her normal voice, Maine asked: “Ano pong nangyari?”

Maine again mimicked Leny’s voice and mumbled an answer.

A netizen named Gelo Largado asked Maine regarding her actions during the “Juan For All, All For Juan” segment.

Using the Twitter handle @gelogelo19921, Gelo tweeted: “Bakit ganon idol? Ginawa mong biro yung pinagdadaanan in ate? @mainedcm”

Maine explained her behavior by replying through her Twitter account: “Nakikiramay po kami kay ate. Hindi po namin alam nung una na ganun pala ang pinagdadaanan niya bilang hindi po namin naintindihan yung una niyang sinabi.”

Thom Sevilla, who uses the Twitter handle @sevillathom1, posted a video of their exchange and described the incident as “insensitive.”

He wrote on Twitter: “I find this part so insensitive knowing that the sugod bahay winner’s son/daughter (not sure) just recently died and they still continue this sick joke of replicating her emotions on what she felt during that moment. You guys are so inconsiderate. @mainedcm @AngPoetNyo #JoseManalo”

THIS IS Kris Aquino’s answer when asked about closure with Mayor Herbert Bautista: “Sa movie, may closure.

Siguro until now, may galit. Siguro until now, nagagalit, kasi nga nagmahal.”

It seems that Kris and Mayor Herbert are not on good terms again. When asked about, “When you love, you must hate”,

Kris said… “When you’re still capable of hating someone you once love, that means there is still love. Pero kapag deadmabels ka na o care bears ka na sa buhay niya, that means naubos na yung love. Bago kayo mag-react, I still care about him.”

Pero kung saan tayo nakatayo ngayon, kung saan ang ABS-CBN, he can still make me hate him, so that means I still have feelings for him.”

First, Kris was referring to James yap, second is Mayor Herbert.

How did love and hate figure in your life so far this year?

“You don’t let hatred win. That’s the he number one lesson I’ve learned. If they can still let you to have that emotion of hatred, then they’ve won. That was a process, ha, na you have to know kung sino talaga ang enemy and choose your battles carefully.”

This year, Kris learned how to forgive even when no one asks for it.

“Ang forgiveness is a gift you give yourself. Forgiveness is not because that person ever said I’m sorry. Forgiveness is not also because minahal ka ng taong yun. But forgiveness comes because inireregalo mo sa sarili mo dahil mabigat mabuhay na mayroon kang sama ng loob, lalo na sa minahal at mahal mo.

“I think that’s what I learned. You don’t have to hear the words ‘I’m sorry’ in order for you to forgive. I’ll just say this, ha, because I won’t be Kris if I don’t say this, just don’t twist the facts. Yun lang ang akin. I can forgive even if you don’t say sorry. Huwag niyo lang palabasin na ako ang sinungaling.”

In her next comments, Kris implied that mayor Herbert never asked for forgiveness.

And when asked ,“Who is the last person you hated that you also loved?” “Si Mayor HB.”

“I said ano, nasabi ko na, ‘Kaya kong i-give up ang pagiging Kris Aquino para sa iyo yet kulang pa rin iyan para sa iyo.’ Sabi ko, ‘If the man never says sorry, kung si President Duterte nagpaabot sa akin ng sorry, bakit ikaw, hindi ka nag-I’m sorry sa akin?’

“Then, he said to me, ‘Mag-usap tayo nang harapan.’ And I said, ‘Para ano pa?’”

Giving stress to what she refers to as closure Kris explained…

“Sa movie, may closure. Sa totoong buhay, hindi ibinibigay sa iyo ang closure. Siguro until now, may galit. Siguro until now, nagagalit kasi nga nagmahal.”

Who was the last one who said “I love you”?

“You know, if I answer that, he’ll deny it. If I answer that, he will deny it. I will not answer that because ilang beses ba niya akong idinenay?”
