CLARK, PAMPANGA — Midori’s Sun Moon Pavilion officially welcomed guests to its newest dining and events destination during its Venue Showcase and Launch Dinner on July 24, 2026.
The launch gathered leaders and representatives from the business, tourism, hospitality, and government sectors for an evening that showcased Sun Moon Pavilion’s refined dining experience and versatile event spaces. Guests were introduced to the venue’s offerings for corporate functions, weddings, milestone celebrations, private parties, special occasions, and grand banquets.
Among the distinguished event attendees were Atty. Agnes Devanadera, President and CEO of the Clark Development Corporation (CDC); Dr. Richard Daenos, Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Director for Region III; and Minister Dustin Teng-shi Yang, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines.
They were welcomed by officials of BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corporation (BBI), headed by Director for Special Projects Edgar Lim and President Wun-Xu Wu. Also present were Midori and BBI’s business partners, executives from CDC and the Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from the airport, airline, travel, and tourism sectors, together with other invited guests.
The celebration commenced with a ceremonial three-strike gong ritual, symbolizing prosperity, success, and enduring partnerships. The ceremony was led by CDC President Devanadera, BBI Director Lim, and BBI President Wu, marking the official opening of Sun Moon Pavilion.
Guests were also treated to an audiovisual presentation highlighting the venue’s elegant function spaces, which can accommodate meetings, celebrations, and various social and corporate gatherings. The showcase also featured Sun Moon Pavilion’s culinary offerings, with a focus on authentic Chinese, Taiwanese, and Cantonese cuisine.
Guests also experienced one of Sun Moon Pavilion’s signature luxury lauriat set menus, offering a taste of the venue’s premium banquet selections and showcasing its commitment to exceptional Chinese dining.
During his remarks, BBI President Wu shared, “BBI and Midori created Sun Moon Pavilion to bring people together through exceptional cuisine and meaningful celebrations.” He added, “One of our most cherished traditions is gathering around the table with the people who matter most. Sun Moon Pavilion was created to be a place where those meaningful moments are shared and remembered.”
