The city government on Saturday distributed assorted vegetables to households in various barangays as part of the city’s relief operation program.
MABALACAT CITY —As part of the city’s relief operation program, the Mabalacat city government on Saturday distributed assorted vegetables to households in various barangays here.
The Relief Operations team handed the first batch of assorted vegetables in Barangays Mabiga, San Francisco, Duquit and Lakandula.
According to City Administrator Atty. Emmanuel Ignacio, purchases were also made for other barangays. However, this depends on the availability of produce, otherwise regular foodpacks shall be given.
“Once the vegetables are delivered to us, we will immediately distribute them to as many households. For now, four barangays received their vegetable package from the city government,” Ignacio added.
The city government led by Mayor Crisostomo “Cris” Garbo has distributed 60,000 food packs to Mabalaqueños since the enhanced community quarantine was implemented.
