SUBIC, Zambales – A fisherman was arrested by operatives of the Subic Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer in Barangay Matain here.
Chief Inspector Joan Sibayan, chief of Subic PNP, identified the suspect as Joseph Estrada y Tana, 48, of Purok 1, Barangay Matain. He was nabbed in the act of selling a sachet of shabu worth P300.
Recovered from the suspect were three heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu and three P100 bills marked money.
The suspect is now facing charges for violation of Section 5 and 11, Article II of RA 9165 before the Office of Provincial Prosecutor in Olongapo City.
