In recognition of the vital role of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in driving economic growth, innovation, and employment, the Department of Trade and Industry Region 3 (DTI-3) is set to celebrate the 2026 MSME Week with a series of activities across Central Luzon aimed at empowering entrepreneurs and promoting a vibrant MSME sector.

Observed every second week of July pursuant to Republic Act No. 9501, or the Magna Carta for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, MSME Week highlights the significant contributions of Filipino entrepreneurs to national development while strengthening public and private sector support for their continued growth.

This year’s regional celebration carries the theme, “Navigating the shift: Building Resilient and Future-ready MSMEs” underscoring DTI’s continuing commitment to fostering resilient, innovative, and globally competitive MSMEs.

Throughout the celebration, DTI Region 3, in collaboration with government agencies, local government units, industry associations, academic institutions, and private sector partners, will spearhead a diverse lineup of activities aimed at strengthening the competitiveness, innovation, and resilience of MSMEs. The weeklong celebration will feature trade fairs, business conferences, capability building programs, seminars, product showcases, and other promotional activities across the region.

Kicking off the celebration is the 2026 Central Luzon Women Entrepreneurs Summit on July 7 at SACOP in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, which will bring together women entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and business support organizations to promote women-led enterprise development and inclusive economic growth.

Across the provinces, DTI offices have likewise prepared various activities to showcase the region’s thriving entrepreneurial community. DTI Aurora will stage the Siempre Aurora Trade Fair on July 2 to 5 at Marquee Mall in Angeles City. In Bulacan, the Level Up Creatives Fair will take place from July 2 to 6 at Robinsons Malolos, while DTI Pampanga will host the Kapampangan MSMEs: Sikat, Masanting – MSME Week Fair from July 15 to 19 at Waltermart City of San Fernando.

Meanwhile, Nueva Ecija will gather ube farmers for the Transfer of Competency on Ube Propagation Program on July 9 in Cabanatuan City, highlighting efforts to enhance productivity and strengthen the province’s renowned ube industry. In Bataan, the Likha ng Bataeño MSME Week Fair will be held from July 13 to 16 at The Bunker in Balanga City. DTI Zambales will conduct its MSME Week Trade Fair from July 8 to 12 at Harbor Point, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, while DTI Tarlac will convene entrepreneurs, business leaders, and stakeholders during the 4th Tarlac BizConEx on July 15 and 16 at the Tarlac City Convention Center.

DTI-3 Regional Director Edna D. Dizon emphasized that MSME Week serves not only as a celebration but also as a reaffirmation of DTI’s commitment to creating an enabling business environment for entrepreneurs.

“Our MSMEs continue to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and determination despite various challenges. Through this celebration, we recognize their invaluable contributions to our economy while reaffirming our commitment to provide programs and services that help them grow, innovate, and become globally competitive,” Director Dizon said.

DTI-3 encourages aspiring entrepreneurs, existing MSMEs, business support organizations, students, and the general public to participate in the scheduled activities and discover opportunities that can help businesses start, grow, and thrive.

The regional celebration forms part of DTI’s nationwide observance of MSME Week, reaffirming the agency’s commitment to nurturing an inclusive, innovative, and sustainable entrepreneurial ecosystem that contributes to the country’s economic development.
