CL agri coop congress held

    CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The 1st Regional Agriculture Cooperative Congress held at the Clark Freeport Zone have drawn some 291 members of 87 cooperatives in Central Luzon.

    The two-day event bannered the theme “Pagbabago sa Kabukiran, Sa Kooperatibang Pamamaraan Laban sa Kahirapan.” It was co-organized by the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) and the Regional Cooperative Development Council (RCDC).

    “This aims to discuss the important issues that aff ect the agriculture sector and address problems encountered by cooperatives,” RCDC Chairperson Richard Avena said.

    The congress featured discussions on partnerships between cooperatives and local government units (LGUs), latest agricultural technologies, and CDA Regulatory Compliances,” Avena explained.

    Popular products from provinces in the region were also featured in the event exhibit.
