SUBIC BAY FREEPORT — The Bureau of Customs – Port of Subic posted a strong revenue collection performance in August 2026, surpassing its monthly collection target by P248.75 million.
Based on collection report covering August 1–31, 2026, the port generated a total collection of P4,422,705,629.57, exceeding its target of P4,173,952,333.65 by 5.96 percent.
“This accomplishment is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and collective effort of our personnel,” enthused BOC-Subic District collector Atty. Geniefelle P. Lagmay. “Surpassing our August target demonstrates our commitment to fulfilling our revenue collection mandate while providing efficient and responsive customs service.”
The strong performance also supports the continuing reform initiatives of BOC Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, particularly the Integrity, Accountability, and Modernization (IAM) Movement, which promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, and institutional accountability across the Bureau.
