Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid, head of Subic PNP identifi ed the victim as Abunju Alumdan, 47, and the arrested suspect arrested as Jerico Tadeo, 39, both residents of Barangay Cawag.
Investigation conducted by SPO1 Arnel Pomarca said the victim together with his co-workers were having drinking spree inside Cool Jam Videoke Bar when the suspect arrived and confronted one Ronnie De Leon, the victim’s co-worker. A heated argument ensued that resulted to a physical confrontation with the suspect drawing a bladed weapon.
Alumdan was stabbed while he and De Leon were trying to get away from the fight.
Responding members of the Subic Public Order and Safety Office rushed the victim to the San Marcelino District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Joselito Vicente.
