So spoke Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on Tuesday as he personally led city hall executives in the distribution of vaccination forms to 1,063 residents of Barangay Virgen Delos Remedios here.

This, in preparation for the family house-to-house vaccination in the said barangay set Wednesday using a mobile clinic and ambulance, as part of the efforts of the city government to fast track the ongoing vaccination.

Lazatin was assisted by his chief adviser and tactician IC Calaguas, executive assistant Reina Manuel, city disaster risk reduction and management office OIC Rudy Simeon and gender and development office OIC Mina Cabiles.

The process for the house-to-house vaccination will be the same with the on-site registration, which includes screening and counseling, vaccination, and post-monitoring, according to Calaguas, also the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program.

To date, the city government has vaccinated 97,000 with the first dose while 58,797 are fully vaccinated.

While the city is pushing for home-based inoculation, the vaccination sites at the City College of Angeles and Angeles City National High School are still operational for senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women.

It can be recalled that the city government has also started door-to-door vaccination to 660 bedridden seniors and 200 bedridden PWDs.
