ANGELES CITY — When a door closes, another one opens — and that is how Protech Solutions owner Joy Cabral started her company during the height of the Covid-19 lockdown in May.
Cabral, 29, a business management graduate of UP Diliman, used to work for Wyeth and Abbott here as a medical representative and territory manager. Being the eldest among four siblings, Cabral was determined to provide for and support her family.
Despite the setbacks and dilemmas that affected her personal and professional career all at the same time, Cabral is driven to come through and yield results –notwithstanding the current economic downturn by starting her own medical equipment and supplies trading company and adapt to the current situation.
According to Cabral, her connections and network from her previous job helped her launch her business as she purveys high quality medical supplies and equipment for clinics, hospitals, and medical professionals.
“I ventured into medical supplies because I want to provide the lowest possible cost for the target market and have accessible medical needs to everybody especially during this pandemic,” Cabral said.
“I also want to continue in this field since I already have the network and background. I have contact information of the doctors that I can use in a good way to penetrate the market,” she added.
Protech Solutions trades in medical supplies and equipment nationwide. It offers all Covid essential items such as PPEs, face masks, face shields, alcohol, rapid test kits, antigen kits, respirators, UV lights and UV bags, humidifiers, vaccines, vitamins and food supplements.
Protech Solutions also caters products from personal use to hospitals grade, private companies, and clinics. It also offesr services administered by licensed doctors and nurses like mobile vaccination services, flu shots, and pneumococcal vaccines.
“We can match the price in the market today, or even lower ours than the current prices. Our aftersales support is also an advantage. We don’t just sell our products, it is more than that because we believe in long term partnership with our clients,” Cabral shared.
