SUBIC, Zambales – A resident of this town wanted for three counts of rape was arrested in Padre Burgos, Quezon by joint operatives of the Subic and Padre Burgos PNP.
Subic police chief Major Gilbert Diaz identified the suspect as Eduardo Laurino y Fernandez, 58, resident of Sitio Kinabukasan, Barangay Cawag, Subic.
An alias warrant of arrest issued by Judge Jose Marie A. Quimboy of RTC Branch 73, Olongapo City for three counts of rape without bail for his temporary liberty was served on the suspect by Lt. George Cruz of the Subic police and Lt. Randy Buenaventura of the Padre Burgos PNP and 2nd Quezon provincial mobile force company.
The suspect is now detained at the Subic police cell waiting for commitment order for transfer at Olongapo City District Jail.
