SANTA ROSA, Nueva Ecija – The 2-week-old baby girl from Barangay San Isidro here maybe endorsed to a quarantine facility anytime as her condition improved, the hospital of her admission announced Tuesday.

In its social media post, the Gonzales General Hospital, Inc. said the baby girl is now in good condition.

“Presently, ang baby ay walang sintomas, malusog at hindi na nilalagnat,” GGH reported of the infant who was born in the same hospital on June 15 and was discharged without any symptoms on June 17.

The RTPCR was conducted after the baby tested positive on a rapid test when she was brought back due to fever.

Meanwhile, the hospital maintained it strictly complies with the infection control policy program, including the use of personal protective equipment.

For its part, the municipal government’s inter-agency task force, headed by Mayor Josefino Angeles, imposed a 14-day quarantine on people inside the compound of the baby’s family.

A contact tracing is also being conducted.
