ANGELES CITY – Holiday shoppers are in for a delight as Robinsons malls celebrate the Yuletide season.
Robinsons Place Angeles signaled the start of the Season of Joy with the lighting of a 10-foot Christmas tree with celebrity guest Marco Gumabao last November 9 with this year’s theme: “How to Holiday.”
The Christmas tree, installed in front of the mall, was lit with 1,000 bulbs as 30 kids from the Home of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Munting Tahanan Nang Nazareth watched with delight with their gifts from the mall
. Jodee Paulette Arroyo, regional operations manager of Robinsons Place Antipolo, was on hand to welcome the children as well as City Councilors Edu Pamintuan, Joseph “PG” Ponce and Jericho Aguas and Metro Angeles Journalists Association, Inc. president Jay “Kuya J” Pelayo IV.
“This is an annual event which started ever since we opened the mall in 2004,” Arroyo said. “It is a way of giving back whatever blessings we received here in Robinsons Place,” she added.
Arroyo also announced two upcoming events happening in the mall with the Sinukwan on November 24 and the Australian wonderland live show for kids to enjoy on November 25.
In the City of San Fernando, Robinsons Starmills signaled the start of the Holiday Season with another Christmas tree lighting with celebrity guest Bea Binene and One Up over-the-weekend.
The 18 feet ginger bread Christmas tree was adorned with almost 5,000 bulbs as 16 kids from the Children’s Joy Foundation joined the celebration.
