Soon, everyone was talking about it and all got worried for Susan. It turned out she was walking on Padre Faura St. when she tripped and fell. Susan has always been on the side of her daughter in the many trials Sen. Grace Poe is facing now that some powerful forces are trying their best to disqualify her in her presidential bid. It’s just sad that this kind of accident happened to her so she wasn’t able to answer the questions of the media and the lawyers at the Supreme Court as she had to be taken to a clinic for a checkup.
It’s good she didn’t have any broken bones.
“Pagpasensyahan na lang po kami,” says Sen. Grace. “Alam n’yo ang naman nanay ko, hindi na rin ganun kabata. Naglakad kasi siya mula Padre Faura papunta sa Supreme Court. Ayun, nadapa s’ya. Hindi na lang niya ipinakita ‘yung kanyang pagdadaing pero ‘yung paa n’ya medyo namaga talaga. But I’m really thankful na talagang naglalaan siya lagi ng oras for me para samahan ako sa struggles ko. Iba rin kasi kapag nandun at kasama mo ang nanay mo para suportahan ka at palakasin ang loob mo.”
