ELLEN ADARNA’S legal counsel Atty. Rebo Saguisag on why his client has yet to submit a counter-affidavit in legal complaints filed against her by Myra and Roel Santos.
“May ibang paraan naman… She doesn’t have to go here. Kasi puwede naman yun, e, sumpaan yung kontra-salaysay sa piskalya sa Cebu, ‘tapos i-submit namin. However, pati yun, binawalan ng kanyang doktor. Ayaw naman namin pilitin. Ayaw muna namin siya ma-stress. Medyo diffi cult yung pregnancy.”
Ellen’s camp says that any form of travel is strictly prohibited because of her pregnancy.
Reason why Ellen is a no show’ on her second preliminary hearing complaint against her.
Couples Myra and Roel Santos filed Anti-Cybercrime and Anti-Child Abuse against Ellen.
This is in relation to the “paparazzi” issue inlvolving the couples minor daughter Eleila Santos. Atty Rebo explained…
“Ayun na nga, may medical certificate, advised against any form of travel. Parang may binanggit dun na under normal fetal weight. Magaan yung bata masyado. Again, hindi pinapabiyahe ang aming kliyente. And as you know, she’s still in mourning after the death of the father.”
Atty Rebo Saguisag is the son of former Senator Rene Saguisag and became exective director of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
Ellen stayed in her family’s hometown Cebu after the death of her late dad Mr. Alan Modesto Adarna last June 2.
Ellen’s camp appealed to re-schedule the hearing on July 2.

“Well, I would understand if you were on the other side, siguro expectation nila makapag-fi le kami. Siguro naman nagbanggit kami dati, ‘We will try.’ But again, hindi natin alam ang kalagayan ni Ellen. May disclaimer naman po kami nun, two weeks ago, sabi namin hindi namin maipapangako. Hopefully we can. Yun po may medical certifi cate po.”
Is Ellen obliged to appear at the hearing on July 9 at the Pasig Presecutor’s office?

Is settlement an option?
“We will have to discuss with the client. We don’t want to preempt that yet. As lawyers, dapat open kayo sa lahat ng options. As peacemakers, hindi naman kami laging palaban. But we have not discussed that option nang malaliman. For now, with due respect sa mourning niya, and we just want her to have a safe delivery. Ayaw muna namin siyang ma-stress.”
On the other hand, the couples Myra and Roel Santos firmly believes it’s a “delaying tactics.”
According to Myra and Roel’s legal counsel Atty. Arnold Labay, “That’s how she feels right now. It has to be explained by the other camp but she’s very disappointed with the reset.”
In the end, Atty Labay warned Ellen’s camp to appear on the July 9 hearing. Only Ellen’s partner John Lloyd Cruz appeared last June 11 hearing at the Pasig Prosecutor’s office.

MARK BAUTISTA speaks up about an alleged nude video of him.
“Hindi ko alam kung saan nila nakuha yung video na yun. Kung may maipakita sila na totoong video dun kasi… gusto kong makita,” he says.
Mark says he still needs to see his alleged nude video that has circulated online to verify if it is really him.
“Actually, gusto kong makita yung original kung meron mang may hawak… kung talagang may hawak siyang video. Hindi ko alam kung saan nila nakuha yung video na yun. Kung may maipakita sila na totoong video dun kasi… gusto kong makita.”
In the video, the guy, who seems to be naked, approaches and looks at the camera.
However, the clip that circulated had been plastered with a logo that covers the private area of the guy.
It was mentioned to Mark that screenshots of the guy in the video have been uploaded online.
Prodded if he is unsure whether he is the same guy in the clip, the 34-year-old singer-actor responds, “Kung makita ko naman na parang ako, aaminin ko kung ako. Kasi wala namang… kung ako talaga.”
What the singer confirms is that when he was in the U.S., someone showed him a “screenshot.”
“Yun ang problema kasi nung nasa States kami nun, e, may nagpakita sa akin ng screenshot, ‘Saan ba ito?’ Gusto kong balikan kung saan ko ba ginawa ito. Hindi ko maalala,” he replies.
Since he has not yet seen the video, he cannot confi rm yet if it is him or not.
“I don’t even know. Kaya di ko na rin pinapansin kasi parang… parang ano ba ‘to? Ayoko nang pagusapan, actually. Ayokong pag-usapan,” he says at the press conference of his upcoming musical show, Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!, Tuesday, June 26.
The musical, which will feature the hit songs of The APO Hiking Society, will run from August 3 to 26 at the Maybank Performing Arts Center, Taguig City.
Mark is just happy to do another musical play.
He is ecstatic to sing the songs of The APO Hiking Society, the iconic OPM group, which consists of Jim Paredes, Danny Javier, and Boboy Garovillo.
Mark says, “Ang mga songs, bagay na bagay sa musical. Naalala ko, Danny Javier is my distant tito.”
He recounts that he did a back-to-back concert with Danny years ago and was inspired to know about their story.
This is why Mark is enthusiastic to be part of Eto Na! Musical nAPO!, a musical which is loosely based on the story of the iconic group. Mark is also proud to work with people who excel as a group.
“Maganda lang sa musical na ‘to dahil lahat kami it’s a team eff ort na walang sumasapaw. Tinanggap ko siya dahil maganda yung songs na kakantahin ko.”
He says some of the APO songs he will perform include “Di Na Natuto” and “Nakapagtataka.”
