CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — A “big-time drug peddler” allegedly engaged in the bulk distribution of shabu across Bulacan and nearby towns in Pampanga yielded some 500 grams of suspected shabu worth P 3,400,000 upon arrest during a buybust operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Barangay Tungkong Mangga, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan on Aug. 6.
The PDEA identified the suspect as alias Tol, male, a resident of Caloocan City.
Aside from the illegal drugs, operatives also recovered the marked money used by the poseurbuyer.
According to PDEA, it took two months of surveillance and coordination before they were able to arrange a transaction with the target.
“Tol was very elusive and extremely cautious in his dealings, this is why it took months to set up a successful drug transaction with him,” PDEA added.
The operation was conducted by the combined elements from PDEA- Zambales, PDEA Region 3 Special Enforcement Team, and PDEA-Bulacan.
The suspect will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act) facing the penalty of life imprisonment. PDEA-3
