BALANGA CITY (PIA) — Bringing government services closer to the people, the Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office (DFA CO) opened an Apostille Hub in Balanga City, Bataan on December 1, providing faster and more convenient document authentication for overseas transactions.

DFA CO Affairs Director Charles Andrei Macaspac said the facility will ensure more efficient processing, streamlining document authentication and eliminating the need to travel outside the province.

Governor Jose Enrique Garcia III underscored that the hub supports the provincial government’s vision of placing key agencies under one roof to make transactions more convenient for Bataeños.

This was made possible through the continued coordination of Congressman Abet Garcia, who also initiated the establishment of the DFA Consular Office for passport services. We are grateful to the DFA, and our constituents can be assured that we will continue to expand and enhance government services here in our province),” he added.

Located on the 3rd Floor of The Bunker, the Apostille Hub operates from Monday to Friday, except holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Clients are advised to secure an online appointment through the official DFA portal at passport.gov.ph/appointment.

Aside from apostille services, the DFA CO continues to offer passport issuance, further expanding access to essential government services for Bataan residents. (CLJD/RPQ, PIA Region 3-Bataan)
