Eleven (11) micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from Tarlac joined the prestigious Ambiente Trade Fair 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany, from February 7 to 11, 2025.
The renowned international trade fair, recognized as one of the world’s leading platforms for consumer goods, provided an exceptional opportunity for Filipino artisans and entrepreneurs to showcase their products, expand their market reach, and engage with global buyers and industry leaders.
The participating MSMEs, known for their craftsmanship featured a diverse range of products, including pottery, woodcraft, furniture, home decor, bags and fashion accessories. The exhibitors from Tarlac included:
- Pascasio Pottery and General Merchandise (Sta. Ignacia) – Pottery
- Oricon Corporation (Concepcion) – Natural stone items
- Betis Crafts, Inc. (Concepcion) – Furniture
- North Shine Lightings and Decors Manufacturing (Gerona) – Capiz decor and accessories
- Red Slab Pottery (Victoria) – Terracotta pottery
- WoodInspirations Crafts (Sta. Ignacia) – Recycled wood home decor and accessories
- Richver Woodcrafts (Bamban) – Wooden bowls, utensils, and crafts
- JCS Beatus Arts N Handy Crafts (Victoria) – Macrame products
- JMB Apparel Shop (Ramos) – Crochet and knitted garments
- Bayong Gracia Plastic Bags Manufacturing (Paniqui) – Hand-painted bayong bags
- Anikka’s Handy Crafts (Tarlac City) – Macrame bags and accessories
Several of these enterprises were returning exhibitors at Ambiente, demonstrating their continued success in international markets:
- Fourth-time exhibitors: Pascasio Pottery, Oricon Corporation, Betis Crafts, North Shine Lightings, and Red Slab Pottery
- Third-time exhibitors: WoodInspirations Crafts and Richver Woodcrafts
- Second-time exhibitor: JCS Beatus Arts N Handy Crafts
- First-time exhibitors: JMB Apparel Shop, Bayong Gracia Plastic Bags Manufacturing, and Anikka’s Handy Crafts
The delegation was led by Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 3 Director Edna D. Dizon, DTI Tarlac OIC Provincial Director Florencia Balilo, Tarlac 1st District Board Member Joy Gilbert Lamorena, Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Provincial Director Karen Dañez. along with Mr. Mark Espiritu and Mr. Gabriel Tabion of the Tarlac Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO), and Their presence underscored the strong support of the government in empowering local enterprises and promoting Philippine-made products on the international stage.
Participation in Ambiente 2025 served as a testament to Tarlac’s thriving creative industry and the global competitiveness of its local artisans. By joining this international trade fair, these MSMEs strengthened their export potential, gained exposure to new market trends, and established valuable business connections.
