7 “pushers” arrested

    SUBIC, Zambales — Operatives of the Subic PNP Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested seven suspected drug pushers in simultaneous drug operations in Barangay Calapacuan here.

    Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid, head of Subic PNP, said police headed by Senior Inspector Jonathan Bardaje arrested April Mae Dela Cruz y Ventura, alias Empeng, 29, resident of Barangay San Isidro in a raid in the barangay.

    Recovered from the suspect were one small heatsealed plastic transparent sachet of shabu and a P500 bill which served as marked money.

    At Managan Street, Barangay Calapacuan, those arrested were identified as Francis Filamor y De Llara, 26, single; Ronny Filamor y De Llara, 19; Rolando Rabo y Mallaen, 26, both residents of Kalye Bulag, Barangay Calapacuan; and Ryan Salazar y Aviner, 26, resident of Barangay Ilwas, all of Subic town.

    Confiscated from the suspects were three small heatsealed plastic transparent sachets of shabu, three P100 bills marked money.

    Maria Shieryl Sardañas y Encarnacion, 35, and Joven Espiritu y Rico, 37, both resident of Purok 5, Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales were arrested in anothger raid.

    Confiscated from the suspects were the four small heatsealed plastic transparent sachets containing shabu and two P100 bills marked money.

    All suspects are now facing charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article ll of RA 9165.
