SUBIC, Zambales — One of the drug reformists who voluntary surrendered to the authorities was killed while sleeping in his house at Barangay Ilwas here, Monday dawn.
Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid, head of Subic PNP, identified the victim as Orlando Dominguez, 51, who was among the 1,450 drug personalities who gave themselves up under “Oplan Tokhang”.
Investigation conducted by SPO4 George Cruz quoted witnesses as saying that at about 4 a.m., an unidentified man was seen barging into the house of the victim and then hearing several gunshots.
Recovered at the crime scene were four empty .9mm shells and several drug paraphernalia.
Police are still conducting investigation to the identity the suspect.
