YAM CONCEPCION joins the cast of Love Thy Woman! However, it is unclear if she replaced Erich Gonzales, who previously backed out of the show.

Love Thy Woman’s producer, Dreamscape Entertainment, met with Yam and her management VIVA Artists Agency today, July 30.

Dreamscape also announced the good news through its Instagram account.

The ABS-CBN content provider wrote in the caption: “YAM CONCEPCION joins the cast of #LoveThyWoman! Thank you, @yamconcepcion & Ms.@veroniquecorpus. Welcome to the Love Thy Woman family!”

Love Thy Woman is top-billed by Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, along with veteran actors Christopher de Leon, Eula Valdes, Zsa Zsa Padilla, Ruff a Gutierrez, and Sunshine Cruz.

Yam’s inclusion in Love Thy Woman comes less than a week after main cast member Erich Gonzales resigned from the show.

Last July 25, 2019, we received a feed that Erich already backed out of the project.

The source said Erich withdrew from Love Thy Woman because her character is being turned into a kontrabida, which was not in the discussion when the role was first pitched to her.

That Erich was once romantically linked to Xian had nothing to do with her backing out from the project, the source added.

Dreamscape Entertainment did not indicate if Yam will replace Erich in the show.

The production unit of ABSCBN has yet to give details about Yam’s role in Love Thy Woman.
