From a backyard silkscreen setup to a growing custom apparel business, Wilarts is marking a decade in the industry with the opening of its newest store in the City of San Fernando.
The homegrown brand recently opened its new outlet on the second floor of Rufina Building in Sindalan, offering custom uniforms, jackets, full-sublimation apparel, merchandise, and sportswear for pickleball and other sports.
Founded by William Yabut and his wife, Deverly Yabut, Wilarts started in 2016 when William learned printing and embroidery after leaving his job as a sales clerk.
“I started with backyard silkscreen printing. From the kitchen, we eventually moved into an actual store,” Yabut shared.
What began as a small operation eventually grew into Wilarts, officially established in 2017. The business is now associated with branches in Lagundi, Mexico and Dau, Mabalacat.
Wilarts has become known for custom uniforms and embroidery and sublimation services, serving businesses, schools, organizations, and sports groups.
The company also credits the support of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region III for helping shape its early growth.
Its first industrial machine was an embroidery machine acquired with DOST Region III’s support.
“That first embroidery machine was more than just equipment. It was the foundation of Wilarts’ growth,” the company said.
The machine helped the business produce quality embroidered uniforms, expand its capabilities, and build the trust of customers who continue to patronize Wilarts to this day.
Beyond apparel, Yabut sees Wilarts as a testimony of faith and perseverance.
“It’s a testimony. Wilarts is also a ministry,” he said.
The brand continues to expand through its Wilarts Apparel and Wilplay Armor & Faith lines, while also strengthening partnerships, including its newly inked official partnership with Pinoy Jowk Box.
As Wilarts welcomes customers to its new San Fernando location, it continues to carry the same goal that helped build the business: quality products, affordable prices, and customer service that keeps people coming back.
