ANGELES CITY – The Sacred Heart Medical Center launched on Thursday, April 9, its advanced MRI Unit and newly enhanced ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) Center, strengthening healthcare delivery in Central Luzon through modern technology and expanded services.
The hospital anchored the initiative on the theme “A Clearer View of Care Begins Here,” underscoring its investment in diagnostic accuracy and patient experience. The new MRI unit delivers high-resolution imaging that enables earlier detection and more precise diagnosis of medical conditions while the upgraded ENT Center now provides comprehensive care for hearing, breathing, and head and neck disorders, which directly affect quality of life.

“Today is more than a launch — it is a step forward in how we care for our patients and serve our community,” said Dr. Nenita Tan, SHMC president and CEO. “With these new facilities, we strengthen our ability to deliver clarity and precision in diagnosis, while making quality diagnostic services more accessible and abot-kaya for Kapampangans and patients from neighboring towns and cities.”

The launch addresses the continuing challenge of patients who struggle to access timely and affordable diagnostic services. By situating advanced imaging and specialized care within the community, the hospital reduces delays in diagnosis and improves health outcomes.
“Because when we see clearly, we treat better. And when we treat better, we change lives,” Dr. Tan emphasized.
SHMC designed both facilities with patient comfort and efficiency in mind, ensuring a seamless experience from diagnosis to treatment. This milestone reflects the hospital’s broader vision to elevate healthcare standards while remaining rooted in community care.
