CABANATUAN CITY – Two big-time drug traders yielded over P20-million worth of shabu following a buy-bust operation in Lakewood Subd., Barangay Sumacab Este here Wednesday afternoon.
Police identified the arrested suspects as Sittie Pindatun y Mimbis, 30, and Nor-an Bilal y Hajinor, 26, both of Barangay H-2, Dasmariñas, Cavite. They were tagged as among the major distributors of shabu in the Metro Manila, Bulacan, and Nueva Ecija.
Confiscated from the suspects were two sealed green plastic tea bags containing white crystalline substance and 10 knot-tied transparent plastic bag containing about three kilograms of shabu with Dangerous Drugs Board value of P20,400,000, the marked money used by the poseur buyer; and two cellular phones.
The entrapment operation was jointly conducted by the combined elements of Nueva Ecija police drug enforcement and intelligence units, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Nueva Ecija, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Nueva Ecija, Cabanatuan police, and thePNP regional drug enforcement and intelligence units.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the arrested suspects. PDEA-PR
