ANGELES CITY – Two high-value drug suspects yielded 106 suspected ecstasy tablets worth P180,200 after their arrest in a police buy-bust in Barangay Balibago here on Oct. 28.
Police said operatives led by Police Station 4 conducted the operations at Johnny St. corner Heneyfel St. which resulted in the arrest of two suspects, aged 24 and 26. Aside from the illegal drugs, recovered from the suspects were one genuine pre-marked P1,000 and nine P1,000 pieces of boodle money.
The suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the appropriate police unit for documentation and proper disposition, while the necessary legal proceedings are being undertaken.
Angeles City police director Col. Robert C. Domingo said the operation underscores ACPO’s continuing commitment to intensify its campaign against illegal drugs and maintain peace and order in the city.
