The Department of Trade and Industry Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and Walter Mart showcased the best local products of Nueva Ecija micro entrepreneurs on July 14-18, 2021 at the Walter Mart Cabanatuan City branch to celebrate MSME Week.
A total of fifteen (15) exhibitors from different municipalities in Nueva Ecija participated in the event, displaying locally produced food, gifts and home decor, and wearables. LJRM Enterprises in Penaranda showcased their handpainted Barong, Filipiniana, and shawls while Glamorosa Enterprises and Lualhati’s Enterprises presented their quality fabric home linen. Also in display were the elegant home furnishings from Novocijano Novelty items, Natural Calamansi from KampCo, beaded bonsai made by the Cabanataun City District Jail female dormitory’s persons deprived of liberty (PDL), healthy herbal products from Jilly’s Herbs and Spices, and freshly baked products and sweet delicacies from Sweet Heavens of Cabanatuan City, stylish slippers of Lhand Walkz Footwear of Gapan City, healthful mushroom chips from REDJ Mushroom Farm and San Juan Mushroom growers in Guimba and Laur, homemade soybean curd from Ajee Food Items in Guimba, and delicious dairy products from Renan’s Pasalubong Shop in Bongabon, Nueva Ecija.
During the trade fair, the Alalay sa Kaunlaran (ASKI) Inc. also displayed a wide range of manufactured products from its MSME clients. These three (3) new exhibitors were among the fifteen (15) exhibitors at the said event. San Juan Mushroom Growers, KampCo, and Lualhati’s Enterprises were the new companies who participated. For the MSME participants, the 5-day activity resulted in total sales of P297,550.00.
On July,21-25, 2021 a similar activity will be held at the Walter Mart San Jose City branch to be participated in by 22 MSMEs from Nueva Ecija.
