OLONGAPO CITY — Local farmers gain an additional market for their produce while police personnel and their families have access to affordable food through the Kadiwa ng Pangulo Store at Camp Lt. Gen. Manuel F. Cabal, under the leadership of Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) City Director PCOL Deonido S. Maniago Jr.

The store provides a marketing channel for fresh agricultural produce and locally sourced goods, connecting farmers with consumers while helping ease household food expenses.

The initiative supports local agricultural producers by providing an outlet for their harvests and bringing their products closer to consumers within the police camp.

For police personnel and their families, the availability of affordable farm products offers another option for managing daily food expenses. For farmers, the store provides an additional avenue to market their goods and reach more buyers.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo program promotes direct selling arrangements intended to support Filipino farmers and improve consumers’ access to reasonably priced food products.

Through the initiative, the OCPO underscores the importance of community partnerships in supporting local agriculture, strengthening farmers’ market access and helping police personnel and their families cope with the cost of daily necessities.
