ANGELES CITY – The ever strong and growing Korean pop culture (K-pop) fan base is rapidly spreading the Korean wave of influence known as “hallyu” as more K-pop stars continue to rise in global popularity.
Black6ix is a rising Korean boy group that has visited the Philippines, and more particularly Pampanga, for the first time as part of their world tour and to promote their first mini album.
Kapampangan K-pop fans here were thrilled no end as the popular K-pop group performed live on stage.

The Noblesse International School (NIS) gracefully hosted the free pre-concert event with a meet and greet and an autograph signing on Monday for their devoted fans driven by their fandom, “Black Pearl,” at the campus open grounds.
Selected students from NIS and Mabalacat National Highschool also warmed up the crowd with each of their opening acts showcasing their talents.
Some Black6ix merchandise were also on sale at the campus during the event which was organized by Events and Crafts by DJ Eljhay.
“Noblesse International School gave this free concert for Black6ix. This is actually for a cause. One of the members of the Black6ix is actually a good friend of the marketing manager of Noblesse. So, they decided to have this one for the benefit of a church,” DJ Elhay said.
Black6ix, which means six boys of infinite possibilities, is a South Korean boy group under Black Hole Entertainment that made its debut on April 7, 2017.
The group consists of Jong Woon, Tae Young, Yey, Yong Seok, Ziki and The King. The group held its concert at SM City Clark on Tuesday completing its set tour in the Philippines.
Black6ix will also visit Japan, Malaysia, and other parts of Europe as part of their world tour.
K-pop has remarkably invaded the global music industry for its constantly evolving trend and genre from the catchy melodies of the “Gangnam Style” to a more serious electro-dance and hip-hop music combined with a well-choreographed and perfectly synchronized dance performances.
South Korea has elevated its pop culture into a world phenomenon that is now continuously rising, dominating the world stage.
