Destura said the local police immediately implemented the directives to warn the public and create awareness among the townsfolk on the possible criminal activities of lawless elements that could happen in their areas.
The activity started with briefings to the Paniqui police personnel directly involved in the oplan, followed by the distribution of information materials.
The police distributed hot lines to the citizens for them to call the police immediately if there’s an incident or commission of crime.
They also conducted lectures in all schools here for teachers and students in addressing harassments and preventing kidnapping.
A dialogue with different agencies and institutions was also conducted to avoid fraudulent acts, theft, robbery etc.
Motorists were also given leaflets on possible car theft or “motornapping.”
The police did not neglect to conduct a house-to-house visitation to give the residents warning on the various criminal activities like akyat-bahay, dugo-dugo, robbery-break-in, and others.
Destura is now calling the attention of the public to cooperate with the police and immediately report any incident of crime they witness for early solution.
