ANGELES CITY – Police operatives arrested a high-value suspect and two cohorts while assorted illegal drugs worth P260,650 were seized during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Balibago on Sept. 15.
Confiscated from the high-value suspect, identified only as a “27-year-old resident of Barangay Pulung Maragul, and his two companions were 38 pieces of suspected ecstasy tablets, with an estimated standard drug price of P64,600; seven grams of suspected kush, with an estimated SDP of P11,550; nine pieces of suspected ketamine pods, with an approximate SDP of P31,500; 10 grams of suspected ketamine, with an estimated SDP of P30,000; and 1,025 grams of suspected marijuana, with an estimated SDP of P123,000 – all amounting to P260,650.
Also recovered during the operation were one genuine P1,000 bill and four pieces of boodle P1,000 bills, which were utilized as buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects, together with the confiscated pieces of evidence, were brought to Police Station 4 for investigation, documentation, and proper disposition. The seized substances will undergo the appropriate examination and inventory procedures, while the corresponding charges will be filed before the proper authorities.
Angeles City Police Office director Col. Robert C. Domingo commended the operating personnel led by Police Station 4 for their dedication and vigilance, and reiterated its commitment to protecting the community from the harmful effects of illegal drugs through sustained law enforcement operations and strengthened police-community partnership.
