A strong advocate of quality education, Globe Business reaffirmed its support for the digital adoption of higher educational institutions and MSMEs at this year’s Inclusive Innovation Conference of the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Competitiveness and Innovation Group.

The two-day annual conference held at Batangas State University gathered university and
college leaders, industry executives and start-up stakeholders. They identified and discussed the types of innovation needed to drive economic progress and competence in a 21st-century global economy through a mix of plenary sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions and high-level presentations.

The impact of technology in Philippine education

Supporting the event, Globe Business put the spotlight on the critical need to reimagine
technology’s critical work in Philippine education and make learning more accessible to all
Filipinos.

“Globe Business has always been at the forefront of promoting 21st century learning, believing it is the best source of hope for our country’s future. As part of our mission to uplift Filipinos’ lives, we are using digital technology to make education readily available to more people and also make the pursuit of learning a resilient one, so that Filipinos can continue to learn and progress even in challenging circumstances,” said Marinella Suyat, Partnerships Manager for Globe Business MSME Group.

“Tuloy ang Edukasyon, Tuloy ang Pag-asa,” a Globe advocacy campaign centered on the idea that education is the key to a better future was introduced to the higher education leaders who joined the event.

Globe continues to support the education sector’s journey towards digitalization and create more spaces for learning for every Filipino through its wide array of innovative learning tools and digital solutions as this coming school year marks a new chapter of learning for Filipinos.
