Former CDC president now LIPAD CEO

So went the announcement on Wednesday on LIPAD’s Linkedin page of the appointment of former Clark Development Corp. president Noel Manankil as the new Chief Executive Officer of the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp., the company that manages the operation and maintenance of CRK.

Manankil succeeded Bi Yong Chungunco, who retired from the position effective Aug. 19, 2022. Manankil assumed the position of CEO on Aug. 20. The LinkedIn post said Manankil is not new to LIPAD, having been appointed Executive Vice President for Commercial Development, External Relations, and Legal Compliance last March 2022.

A long time official at the CDC, Manankil took over the presidency of the state-owned and -controlled corporation in 2016, succeeding Arthur P. Tugade who was appointed secretary of transportation nin nthe Duterte administration.
